![]() Use keyboard shortcut Alt-Space to open the window's position and size controls. First make sure the window is selected. If this doesn't work, play around with some keyboard shortcuts to change window size or location, if you want to try to move it away from under the Start button. Can you hover the mouse over the edges until you see a double arrow and drag it to change the window's size? It is only where it is because I fiddled with the location of the start menu and it jumped out of the way. This is a screenshot: the little box in the LH corner does not interact normally you cannot move it and the X does not close it. The scanner also whirs around like normal when I click the "preview" button, but it just displays this weird little box instead of the proper one.Įdit: I am running windows 7 64 bit, and have used this set up continuously for over a year without fault, until it randomly stopped working today. It appears to be able to scan without problem obviously completely unadjusted scans, but they seem to exist. I have tried uninstalling, then re-installing EpsonScan. I have tried restarting both computer and scanner. When you try to click on it, all that happens is that the main Epson Scan window flashes. When it pops up, it's in the bottom LH corner of the screen, hidden behind the start menu button. I am working in "professional" mode and all that appears is a small (like as small as it is possible to be) secondary window saying "EPSON Scan" in the top, and with an "X" button that you can't click. ![]() ![]() When I run Epson Scan, which has until today always run without a problem, I do not get a 'preview' window when I click the "preview" button.
